Candidate profile: Joel Willett

Race at a glance

Joel Willett is running as a Democrat in Kentucky’s contested 2026 election for U.S. Senate. The general election is scheduled for Nov. 3, 2026.

The field has 22 listed candidates: 12 Republicans, eight Democrats, one independent and one candidate designated as Other. Republican Mitch McConnell is identified as the incumbent.

Every candidate entry has the same status for several key details: No biography, documented policy position, amount raised, amount spent or cash-on-hand figure is on file. A missing finance figure does not establish that a campaign raised or spent zero dollars; it means the entry does not state an amount.
