The 2026 U.S. House race
Trygve Hammer is one of eight candidates in North Dakota’s contested U.S. House election. The general election is scheduled for Nov. 3, 2026.
The field includes three Democrats, four Republicans and one candidate listed with the IDP. Republican Julie Fedorchak is identified as the incumbent, meaning she currently holds the office. Hammer is among the three Democratic candidates in the race.
