The list also includes Jasper General Hospital in Bay Springs; Kings Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven; Magee General Hospital in Magee; Marion General Hospital in Columbia; Neshoba County General Hospital in Philadelphia; Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale; and South Sunflower County Hospital in Indianola.
Tishomingo Health Services in Iuka; University of Mississippi Medical Center-Grenada in Grenada; Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro; Webster Health Services in Eupora; Winston Medical Services in Louisville; and Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley will also receive funding.
The grants are formula-based rather than divided through differing award amounts for each recipient. Eligible rural hospitals must apply to participate, after which the available program funding is split equally among approved facilities.
